At Africanbusinessquest.com, we are relentlessly on the lookout for gifted contributors to join our network of contributors sharing thought-provoking and inspiring African content with the global business community! An invitation to entrepreneurs seeking a competitive edge in Africa’s global marketplace. Content covering a wide range of areas including but not limited to business startups in technology, finance, fashion, music, economic development, sports, arts & culture, lifestyle, health, entrepreneurship, social media and the business of culture. All contributor positions are unpaid. Nonetheless, we are happy to put a promotional acknowledgment for all contributors including links to their personal profiles.

Length of Article: Acceptable word count is 900 words, a longer article is alright, and anything over 1200 words will not be accepted. However, entries should be engaging and thoughtful.

Topic Main: Content must provide in-depth information on how to start and run a profitable business in Africa. The content must be followed by adequate steps involved in starting and running a good-paying business in Africa. Our intention is to help increase the business knowledge of people interested in setting up businesses in Africa. Know that content must be Africa centric.

Originality: We are interested in fresh ideas and ensuring that you are offering our readers an original idea they care about.

Site Search: Search our site to discern what topics our readers like and enjoy reading. Make sure that the content you are offering presents positive, thought-provoking, insightful or progressive business ideas our readers have not seen.

Proactive Advice: Content that offers less actionable advice to our readers will not be selected for publication.

Trusted Sources: We encourage the use of well documented, properly cited and reliable primary sources. In general content providers should not shear away from sharing few links to outside websites (not affiliated to Africabusinessquest.com) where readers can find more information, including resources on topics being discussed.

Business Leaders Interviews: We will be happy to approve interviews with any African business leaders, particularly well-known or notable African business leaders, including emerging and young business entrepreneurs. We require that you run the interviewees by us for approval just to avoid duplication of efforts. It’s quite possible that other content providers may have already reached out to the same person.

Non-Staff Main: Content Providers or Contributors are NOT members of the African Business Quest staff and should not represent themselves as such at events, including communications with sources.

Proof Read Your Content: Know that untidy work will not be accepted by our team of editors. Should your content full of errors both factual or typos, it will not be accepted.

Link Your Content to Sources: Should you quote someone or cite a statistics, make sure you link out to the quote or citation from your source.

Support Your Content Argument: You are encouraged to use multiples examples to prove your argument.

English Language: Submissions should be well edited and within the standards of written English

Content or Article Submission: Forward your article or content to this e-mail address – editor@africabusinessquest.com. Due to the volume of submissions coming to us, contributors should expect to receive a response within 2 -4 weeks.

Original Work Submission: Make sure not to submit work that you did not write. Submissions must be positive, thought-provoking and insightful. Content providers or Writers should while acknowledging the challenges of the continent, focus primarily on submitting articles that have African solutions and ideas as their main theme. Subject areas are wide and varied including but not limited to technology, finance, fashion, music, economic development, sports, arts & culture, lifestyle, health, entrepreneurship, social media. The aim is to inform, challenge and inspire the next generation of Africans entrepreneurs.

Using Other Work: If you must submit an article or idea written originally by someone else, you must include the following in your submission: article/idea source or link.

Copyright Rules: Content providers or Writers must adhere to copyright rules. Do not use another person’s work as your own.
